Liverpool return to action on Thursday, hosting Chelsea at Anfield as they look to build on Sunday’s win over Sheffield United.
It’s been a tough time for the Reds, but they managed to end a four-game losing run in the Premier League by beating the Blades 2-0.
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea side will be a tough test, but Jurgen Klopp has been handed a triple training boost ahead of the game.
That’s right – three pieces of good news for Klopp in a season that has been rife with injuries and absences.
Firstly, goalkeeper Alisson was spotted back in training on Tuesday, having been granted permission to miss Sunday’s game with Sheffield United for compassionate reasons.
Adrian did just fine against the Blades, but having Alisson back is a massive boost for the Liverpool defence.
Additionally, Fabinho was also in training having picked up a muscle injury last month, meaning he missed games against Leicester City, RB Leipzig, Everton and Sheffield United.

The Brazilian may not be ready to start against Chelsea, but what a boost it would be to just even have him on the bench again; Liverpool certainly miss him when he is out.
Finally, attacker Diogo Jota was also in action on Tuesday having missed the trip to Sheffield United through illness.
Jota hasn’t played since the Champions League draw with Midtjylland in December, and having him back on the bench to face Chelsea would give Klopp another major goal threat.
