Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Cody Gakpo and has said that the forward is “exceptional”.
Klopp has been quoted as saying by Anfield Watch that Gakpo is super smart, and that he has been superb for Liverpool since his move to the Reds in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old joined Liverpool from PSV in the middle of the season.
The Netherlands international forward has scored five goals and given one assist in 11 Premier League starts for the Merseyside club.

The forward could become the new Roberto Firmino for Liverpool.
Gakpo can get past opposition players, has pace, and is very clever with his movement.
If Liverpool are to get back to their best next season and resume challenging for the Premier League title, then Gakpo will have to play a big role.
