Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Everton for their impressive start to the season, as quoted in The Liverpool Echo.

Everton have won all three of their Premier League games so far this campaign, and are level on nine points with Liverpool and Leicester Ciy.

The Toffees have made three big signings in the summer transfer window, bringing in James Rodriguez, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan.

Liverpool boss Klopp has been impressed with the way Everton have started the new season.

The Liverpool Echo quotes Klopp as saying about Everton: “It’s a strange season. Teams who didn’t do exactly what they wanted last year, like Everton… three new players, really good new players.

“(They’re) Flying. Really good playing, I have to say. Really, really good playing. With a short pre-season, other teams struggle slightly more.”

Top-four challenge

While it is hard to see Everton challenge for the Premier League title this season, the Merseyside outfit are certainly among the contenders for a top-four finish.

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the best managers in the world, and with the likes of James and Allan now in his team, the Italian will be confident of his side making a push for the Champions League places.

Diogo Dalot competition

Meanwhile, Everton are reportedly facing competition from Ancelotti’s former club AC Milan for Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot.

According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Milan have made an offer to United to sign the 21-year-old Portuguese on loan with an option to buy next summer, but the Red Devils would prefer to sell him.

The Mirror reported in August that Everton manager Ancelotti wants to sign Dalot this summer.
