The Reds got the better of Arsenal 3-1 at Anfield in the Premier League on Monday evening.
Alexandre Lacazette put the Gunners in the lead after 25 minutes, but goals from Sadio Mane, Andy Robertson and Diogo Jota saw the defending Premier League champions pick up all three points from the encounter.
Liverpool manager Klopp has said that he is disappointed that Salah could not score, and the German has praised the performance of the 28-year-old Egypt international forward.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “Mo played an absolutely exceptional game tonight; I would have wished for him that he could have scored.”
Stats
According to WhoScored, against Arsenal at Anfield on Monday evening, Salah took four shots of which one was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 69.2%, took 51 touches, attempted one dribble, and made one tackle and one clearance.
Strong start
Although Liverpool have conceded more goals than they would have liked so far this season, the Reds have won all of their matches in the Premier League.
It is not easy to get the better of Leeds United, Chelsea and Arsenal, and the Reds have done just that.
