Roberto Firmino is an important player for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Firmino has scored two goals and provided two assists in 11 Premier League appearances for Liverpool so far this season, according to WhoScored.
According to WhoScored, 27-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, has scored two goals in 198 minutes of Champions League football so far this campaign.
The Brazil international is not at his best yet, but Liverpool manager Klopp does not seem to be concerned.
When asked if he’s worried about Firmino, Klopp told The Liverpool Echo: “No. He’s hard-working, sometimes better, sometimes a bit less, but good. That’s how it is.
“It will be all fine for sure. If he didn’t score in the last few games then… one in nine? All competitions? Didn’t he score against Red Star?
“That was the one goal he scored? Okay, good. I am not concerned. Things like this happen. He is a very important player for us.”
Getting back to his best
Firmino is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League, and his importance to the current Liverpool team cannot be undermined.
The former 1899 Hoffenheim is not at his best yet, but it is only a matter of time before he rediscovers his form over the past two seasons.
Liverpool are going strong in the Premier League and are also in a good position to progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League this season.
