Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is injured at the moment.

Gomez a lower leg fracture during Liverpool’s match against Burnley back on December 5 and has been on the sidelines since.
According to The Sun, the defender was initially expected to be out of action until mid-January, but it is February now and the 21-year-old is nowhere near fit.
Liverpool manager Klopp has suggested that the England international may need surgery, meaning that Gomez could be on the sidelines for an extended spell.
When asked if Gomez may require surgery, Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “I don’t know. We will see. It is possible, probably.
“It is not exactly going how we want, that’s how it is. He needs more time. We will see exactly how we do it.
“There were different moments when we thought we could do this or that. It will take time. We cannot say more.”

Bad news for Liverpool
Gomez is a very good defender and has established as the first-choice central defender to partner Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool have been defensively better this season due to that partnership, and with key matches coming up, both in the Premier League and in the Champions League, it will be a blow if the 21-year-old does not feature.
According to WhoScored, Gomez has made 12 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Liverpool so far this season.
