Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said on ESPN FC that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United will be involved in the Premier League title race next season.

Klopp made the comments while looking ahead to the Premier League title race next season.

Manchester City and Liverpool have been the two outstanding teams in the Premier League over the past four or five years.

Arsenal could not even finish in the Premier League top four last season.

As for Manchester United, they are venturing on yet another rebuild, this time under Erik ten Hag.

Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp on Arsenal and Manchester United

Klopp said on ESPN FC: “Arsenal is still there, Manchester United obviously with a new start and this kind of things.”

Title challenge from the Gunners and the Red Devils?

In our opinion, Arsenal and Manchester United are not going to challenge for the Premier League title next season.

Liverpool and Manchester City are the two best teams in England, and we do not think that it is going to change anytime soon.

Yes, Liverpool have lost Sadio Mane this summer, but they have signed Darwin Nunez.

Manchester City have brought in Erling Haaland.

Then there is Chelsea, who will surely be one of the main challengers for the Premier League title race next season.

In our view, just like last season, Arsenal and Manchester United will be aiming to ‘just’ finish fourth in the Premier League table in 2022-23.
