Liverpool destroyed the Spanish champions at Wembley.

Jurgen Klopp has told Liverpool’s official website that his troops are not on par with Barcelona despite smashing the Spanish giants 4-0.
The Reds demolished a Barcelona side which had Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in it on Saturday’s International Champions Cup victory at Wembley.

Liverpool’s £34 million man Sadio Mane opened the scoring on 15 minutes, before Divock Origi and Marko Grujic added the third and fourth goal of the rout in the second half after Javier Mascherano’s earlier own goal.
With the Premier League season just one week away, it gives Liverpool a huge confidence boost – and especially with Barca boasting some stellar names in their first XI – but Klopp has insisted that he nor his players will read too much into the win.

“It’s a friendly game and I don’t want to overestimate this game but it’s still good for us,” he told the club’s official website.
“We didn’t think before the game we are one level with Barca and we don’t think after the game we are on a higher level than Barca – we are not crazy.”
Liverpool visit Arsenal next Sunday and those on the red half of the North London divide might be a little nervy on the back of seeing the Reds’ result.
Arsenal have not had a fantastic summer in terms of transfers and Gunners fans might be slightly worried about next week as a result.
