Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Fabio Carvalho whilst suggesting that he has dazzled in training again.
The Reds boss has been speaking to This Is Anfield ahead of tonight’s trip to take on West Ham United.
Carvalho’s future has become a topic of discussion over the last week or so.
Fabrizio Romano reported last week that Carvalho is ‘leaving’ Liverpool this summer.
That left some believing that Liverpool were selling Carvalho just a year since striking a £7.7million deal to sign him from Fulham.
It instead feels much more likely that Liverpool would allow Carvalho to leave on loan for next season.
The 20-year-old has only managed four Premier League starts and an additional eight substitute appearances.
Carvalho hasn’t even played a minute of Premier League action since the 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth in March.
That can’t continue into next season if Liverpool want Carvalho to fulfil his huge potential.
A loan to another Premier League club would be sensible – but Klopp is liking what he’s seeing right now.

Klopp has now suggested that he has made no firm decision on Carvalho’s future just yet.
The Liverpool boss wants to talk it over with Carvalho – and other youngsters who could go out on loan – to make the right decision.
Klopp did though heap praise on Carvalho, stating that he has again been ‘exceptional’ in training this week.
Klopp called Carvalho’s training displays ‘really outstanding’, no doubt giving the playmaker some confidence moving forward.
“I would like to make these decisions, whatever it will be, with the boys before we talk about it and there is no decision in no direction,” said Klopp. “We will talk to each other and then we will see what we will do, what he wants and what I think, but there is no decision yet.”
“What I can say is that again this week he was exceptional in training, it’s really outstanding,” he added.
Liverpool do still have an outside shot of breaking into the top four, but will look to at least secure Europa League football for next season.
Until the Reds have nothing to play for, it will be difficult for Carvalho to force his way in.
There will be comings and goings in midfield this summer but Liverpool need to get Carvalho consistent playing time one way or another – and that may mean a loan exit.
