Jürgen Klopp has revealed that Mohamed Salah was angry last night, after Liverpool recorded a 4-1 win over Everton in the Premier League.
What’s the story?
Well, the 73-cap Egypt international scored two goals against the Toffees, but still came away from Goodison Park feeling upset.
Why? Well, let’s hear it from Klopp.
As quoted by the Liverpool Echo, the German said: “He was angry after the game. He wanted to score more! But who cares?! That’s what all strikers are like.”
For most players, two goals in a derby and a 4-1 win would be enough to make them content travelling home.
However, that’s what sets Salah apart from the rest – he is among the best on the planet because of his desire to always want more.
The 29-year-old now has an astonishing 19 goals in 19 games this season, while also providing seven assists.
If he keeps this up, Salah could be set to have one of the best Premier League campaigns of all time.
Mohamed Salah ran riot in Liverpool 4-1 Everton

At Goodison Park last night, Salah caused Everton all sorts of problems.
As WhoScored shows, the Liverpool No.11 had five shots, three of which were on target as he scored two goals.
Salah also completed 85% of his passes, and recorded one tackle on a night where he shone against Rafa Benitez and the Toffees.

It’s now at the point where it’s a shock if the ex-Chelsea man doesn’t score – he has been utterly prolific this season.
With 13 goals in 14 Premier League games, Salah is well on course to break his own record of 32 goals in a single Premier League campaign.
In our view, Liverpool have the best player on the planet in their squad right now – how Salah finished 7th in the Ballon d’Or rankings, we’ll never know.
