Former Tottenham Hotspur icon Jurgen Klinsmann spoke to TalkSport about Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.
Daniel Levy made a big call when he decided to sack Mauricio Pochettino and bring in Mourinho as his replacement.
The Portuguese boss is a proven winner, having won trophies at every club he has ever been at. But he has the unfortunate history of leaving clubs in a terrible state after a few years.
However, Klinsmann feels that Spurs have got the right man for the job in Mourinho, and hopes that he will lead them to the success they deserve.
He said: “Jose is an absolutely exceptional coach. Obviously he has his philosophy, his way of doing things.
“With his experience and knowledge, he has an amazing humour as well, I just hope that things will fall into place and they get the success that they deserve.”
Tottenham have been without a trophy since 2008 and have not won the league since the early 1960s.

If there is one man who can change that, it’s Mourinho, but he will need the board’s backing in the upcoming summer transfer window.
If Mourinho can convince Levy to get him the players he wants, Tottenham can become a force in the Premier League. But the current financial climate will likely prohibit Spurs from making any big signings this summer.
That makes things a bit more difficult for the former Real Madrid boss. However, he knew that taking this job was a big challenge and next season is when he needs to deliver for Tottenham.
