Former Tottenham Hotspur hero Jurgen Klinsmann has stated via Twitter that he is delighted to see the club hand a new contract to Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Carter-Vickers is a USA under-23 international and is expected to one day break into the senior squad.
Klinsmann is manager of the USA national team, and has a close eye on how Carter-Vickers is progressing.
Tottenham announced via their official website this week that Carter-Vickers has signed a new contract, extending his contract until 2019.
Klinsmann sent a message in reaction to hearing the developments.
Carter-Vickers has stepped up this season to become a regular part of Tottenham’s matchday squad, and has even been preferred on the bench at times to Austrian international Kevin Wimmer.
The 18-year-old made his first start for the club in the recent EFL Cup clash against Gillingham, keeping a clean sheet in a 5-0 victory.
