Junior Firpo told Sky Sports News (02/08/21 at 9:40 am) that he has found Marcelo Bielsa’s training at Leeds ‘a little bit hard’.
The 24-year-old joined Leeds this summer from Barcelona and now he is getting his first taste of English football.
Even for the most experienced of players, they would find life tough when Bielsa is giving out orders on the training pitch given that he is highly demanding.
But despite the physical nature of Bielsa’s training sessions, Firpo shared that his teammates have given him a ‘warm welcome’.
“I feel good,” said Firpo. “It’s a little bit hard. It’s physical. We are doing a lot of sessions of training.
“But it’s good. The other teammates have given me a warm welcome, so it’s good.”

It’s going to be interesting to see how Firpo faires under Bielsa because he has the chance to be one of the signings of the summer.
Added with that, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Leeds finish in those European places next season.
They will be one of the dark horses with Bielsa at the helm, their key players not sold and more quality added from last season.
