Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has said that Junior Firpo is not at his best yet, as quoted in Leeds Live.
Bielsa has said that Leeds left-back Firpo is not playing at a level below 6, but he has not seen him do as good as to get a 7 out of 10 in any game so far this season.
Leeds Live quotes Bielsa as saying about Firpo: “With regards to his evolution in the team, I think he hasn’t been able to play a 7-point performance, but he hasn’t also played below a 6-performance.
“He has had a regular performance and he’s grown, but below what he’s capable of doing.”
The Leeds boss added: “When Junior manages to have the rhythm the Premier League imposes on you, he’s going to be a full-back that shines a lot because he has all the physical and technical resources to generate moments of very good football.”

More to come from Junior Firpo
Firpo joined Leeds from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old left-back has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season.
The defender has also played twice in the Carabao Cup for the West Yorkshire club.

Junior has not exactly been great for Leeds, but as Bielsa notes, he has not been bad either.
The former Barcelona left-back has been average.
It is clear that there is more to come from Junior, and Leeds fans will hope that he steps up his game in the coming weeks.
It is not easy for any player to adapt to Bielsa’s system quickly.
We also have to consider the fact that Junior has been playing in the Premier League for only a few weeks.
