The former Sunderland midfielder says Moyes needs new players.
Former Sunderland midfielder Julio Arca has been commenting on their poor form and run of results of late.
Sunderland’s Julio Arca and Leeds United’s Aaron Lennon
The Argentine spent six years at the Stadium of Light before heading to Middlesbrough in 2006. The popular star, who is now playing for South Shields, was speaking on twitter when he shared his sympathy for Sunderland manager David Moyes – who he feels needs investment to improve the team:
Arca continued on his Sunderland conversation by making it clear he would love to play for the club one more time. But the 35-year-old admitted it was only a pipe-dream and simply wants to back Sunderland to do well:
Sunderland certainly need some investment if Moyes is going to have any chance of keeping them in the Premier League this season.
The Black Cats are again in a fight for survival and their 2-0 loss at West Brom yesterday leaves them bottom of the table and without a win in their last seven games.
Sunderland need players like Arca at the moment if they are to fight off relegation this season. Hopefully Moyes will get a chance to add some.
