Everton should consider a move for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder this summer.

Everton fans will be excited at the prospect of seeing Andre Gomes playing for their side again next season.
The Toffees recently completed the £22 million signing of the Portuguese ace from Barcelona, but Marco Silva’s work should be far from finished.
According to the Sun, Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in signing Everton ace Idrissa Gueye, and if the Senegal international does end up leaving Goodison Park, Silva will have to bring in an able-bodied replacement.
And with the is in mind, the Blues should make a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl, who is being tracked by Arsenal, according to German publication Sport Bild.
The 23-year-old is a tenacious, tough-tackling, deep-lying central midfielder, and he is also comfortable when in possession of the football.
The five-capped Germany international would be the ideal central midfield partner for Gomes, and the duo would surely work incredibly well together.

Weigl and Gomes could form a partnership capable of helping Everton gatecrash the top six next season.
According to Sport Bild, the Dortmund ace is available for just €30 million (£27 million) this summer, and in today’s day and age, that would represent an absolute bargain for the Toffees.
Everton will obviously have to fend off competition from Arsenal for Weigl, but if Silva does manage to bring the German to Goodison Park this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Everton.
