The Borussia Dortmund midfielder would be an excellent summer addition for Everton.

Everton sold Idrissa Gueye to Paris Saint-Germain yesterday.
And now Toffees boss Marco Silva will surely be looking to add another defensive midfielder to his ranks before the transfer window closes.
And with this in mind, the Merseyside outfit should consider a move for Borussia Dortmund ace Julian Weigl.
According to Sport Bild, the Dortmund ace is available for just €30 million (£27.5 million) this summer, and in today’s day and age, that would represent an absolute bargain for Everton.
Ideal partner for Gomes
Weigl is a defensive midfielder by trade, and he would compliment the Portuguese ace’s skill-set perfectly.
The five-capped Germany international excels when breaking up play, and his superb positional sense would undoubtedly help solidify Everton as a defensive unit.
Great technique
The Dortmund ace, 23, is not just about doing the dirty work. He also has wonderful technical ability – something that would enable him to help the Toffees build their play through the middle of the park.

Experience playing at the highest level
Despite his relatively tender years, Weigl has already racked up 151 appearances for Dortmund, and he is used to challenging at the top end of the Bundesliga.
This could be vital for Everton next season, as they look to make the step up to the next level.
Weigl could very well go on to become one of Europe’s best deep-lying midfielders, and under the guidance of Marco Silva at Goodison Park, there will be no limit as to how far the young German can go.
