Reported Tottenham Hotspur managerial target Julian Nagelsmann is not sure about taking charge of Chelsea at the end of the season.
Nagelsmann has been linked with both Tottenham and Chelsea.
The German boss was recently dismissed by Bayern Munich.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a permanent manager at the end of the season following the parting of ways with Antonio Conte.
Frank Lampard is in charge of Chelsea at the end of the current campaign.
Like their London and Premier League rivals Tottenham, Chelsea, too, will want a permanent manager in the summer of 2023.
On March 27, The Telegraph reported that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants to appoint Nagelsmann as the North London club’s new manager.
The Times reported earlier this month that the German boss has already held talks with Chelsea.
And now The Independent journalist Miguel Delaney has reported in his Reading the Game newsletter (12:31pm, April 21, 2023) that the 35-year-old is not sure about taking the Chelsea job in the summer of 2023.
Julian Nagelsmann stance on Chelsea amid Tottenham interest
Delaney wrote: “Julian Nagelsmann is being heavily pushed, but there isn’t unanimity about him and he still isn’t sure himself.”

HITC Verdict: Encouraging for Spurs
In our view, Julian Nagelsmann not being sure about Chelsea is very encountering for Tottenham Hotspur.
Chelsea are a bigger club than Spurs, but they have already sacked two managers this season.
Perhaps the German boss is not sure whether he would be given time at Chelsea.
This could allow Spurs to swoop in and convince Nagelsmann that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the right destination for him.
