Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Julian Draxler has told Bild that he does not plan to leave the club in the summer transfer window, amid speculation that Tottenham Hotspur want him.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham are interested in signing Draxler from French giants PSG this summer.

It has been reported that the 25-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, is on the list of players Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly wants.

Draxler, though, has said that he does not plan to leave PSG anytime soon.

Draxler told Bild, as translated by The Mirror: “I cannot say anything about that, because I have no intention of leaving the club.

“I have heard nothing from the club [in regards to leaving]. I have not talked to anyone, I know nothing.”

Disappointing PSG spell

Draxler joined PSG from VfL Wolfsburg in January 2017 for a transfer fee reported by Goal.com to be worth £30 million.

Much was expected of the 25-year-old when he arrived at PSG, but the Germany international has failed to make a huge impact at the French giants.

The 25-year-old made 22 starts and nine substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for PSG this season, scoring three goals and providing seven assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
