Juju Smith-Schuster has copied an old Wayne Rooney celebration after scoring a touchdown for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
The Chiefs were widely expected to dominate the Denver Broncos on Sunday but this turned out to be a much closer affair than anticipated.
Kansas City claimed a 34-28 win in the end, securing victory by just one score.
Andy Reid’s team move to 10-3 on the season and will be a Super Bowl favourite once again.
There was one moment that will have caught the eyes of football fans too with Juju Smith-Schuster emulating Wayne Rooney.
With the score finely poised at 27-21, Smith-Schuster caught a pass from Patrick Mahomes for a touchdown.
Smith-Schuster then started shadow boxing before falling to the ground in celebration.

What is the Wayne Rooney celebration?
Football fans will remember Wayne Rooney doing that exact celebration against Tottenham Hotspur in 2015.
Smith-Schuster has confirmed on Twitter that his celebration against the Broncos was to emulate Rooney.
The meaning of this celebration goes back to 2015.
Rooney had been filmed boxing with former United teammate Phil Bardsley in his home.
The video somehow made its way to the public and Rooney was criticised for doing something perceived as dangerous before a game.
Rooney went and scored against Tottenham Hotspur and pulled off his shadow boxing celebration, falling to the ground just as he did in the video.
Rooney later explained that he has a lifelong passion for boxing and both he and Bardsley would regular mess around boxing each other.
The pair were bloodied and battered so questioned what on earth they were doing.
Rooney has always had a laugh about it though – as seen with his self-deprecating celebration.
Smith-Schuster decided to copy that celebration having already emulated Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous ‘siu’ celebration earlier in the season.
The wide receiver clearly loves football celebrations and we may have to look out for his next one. Maybe Roger Milla or Julius Aghahowa will be next.
Smith-Schuster caught nine passes for the Chiefs against the Broncos and is attempting to win a new contract.
Smith-Schuster’s one-year, $3.76million contract with the Chiefs expires in 2023 and he will be a free agent in March as things stand.
With a few more touchdowns – and maybe some celebrations included – Smith-Schuster will surely earn a new Chiefs contract.
