Jude Bellingham has labelled Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson as ‘big bro’ on Instagram after the conclusion of England’s international fixtures for this month.
The duo played a part as England recorded a 1-1 draw in Poland against Ukraine for their Euro 2024 qualifier, before they beat Scotland at Hampden last night.
Jude Bellingham was the star of the show against the Scots, scoring and assisting during the game, which led him to collect the Man of the Match award – Graeme Souness claimed that James Maddison is a ‘far better player’ than the 20-year-old.
For Callum Wilson, he only played around ten minutes during the two games, with Harry Kane leading the line for both matches and Gareth Southgate opting to bring on Marcus Rashford, Conor Gallagher and Phil Foden against Ukraine.
Either way, the Newcastle United hitman, ahead of Euro 2024 next summer, is still front and centre of Southgate’s thoughts.
There is some serious competition for those striker places with the likes of Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins and Tammy Abraham not selected in the most-recent squad through either being banned, form or injury.

“A big performance from all in a historic fixture, to round off a very good week away! 🙌🏽🏴,” said Wilson on Instagram.
“Back to the Toon for an important month ahead.”

There are some stellar and heavyweight fixtures coming up for Newcastle and it’s a chance for Wilson to further boost his chances of becoming a regular for England.
If he performs against the likes of AC Milan, PSG and Dortmund, and perhaps beyond, then there is no reason why he shouldn’t have his ticket booked for Germany next summer, regardless of what others around him do.
