Pochettino has been linked to Barcelona and Real Madrid during his time at Spurs.

Argentina were knocked out of the World Cup in Russia in the Round of 16, after a disappointing group stage saw them lose 3-0 to Argentina and only manage a 1-1 draw against Iceland before beating Nigeria late on.
They reached the knockout stages but as favourites of the competition, Sampaoli saw his side lose 4-2 to eventual winners France. Now, Argentina are on the lookout for a new manager.
Veron, who turned out for Manchester United and Chelsea in the Premier League as well as picking up 73 caps for Argentina, believes Pochettino is a very good option as manager of his country.
“Obviously, Pochettino’s name is seductive any way you look at it,” Veron said. “But I think that to offer him something, you have to have something well-armed. Present him a platform and see how he can fit into that.”

Pochettino, 46, has a contract at Spurs until the summer of 2023 and is set to enter his fifth season as manager with the north Londoners, as he looks to finally end the club’s pursuit of a trophy.
