Manchester United star Juan Mata has praised Wolves ahead of the upcoming FA Cup tie.

United beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last night 2-0 to reach the quarter-finals.

Their reward is a trip to Wolves, who beat Bristol City in the previous round 1-0.

Wolves held United to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford earlier in the season and knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup in the third round at Molineux.

United ace Juan Mata told United’s official website that he is wary of the threat Wolves will pose.

He praised the club’s performances this season and the job being carried out by manager Nuno Santo.

Nuno Espirito Santo the manager

Mata, signed by United for £37.1m in 2014, said: “Their manager is doing a very good job there.

“They play good football, so it’s difficult to play against them, even more away.

“But if we want to win the FA Cup we need to try to beat everyone. We’ve done that with Arsenal and Chelsea, two top teams, and now we will go to Wolverhampton with the same ambition.”

The winner will play in the cup semi-finals at Wembley before the final in May.

United’s rivals City remain in the competition, and travel to face Swansea.
