Tottenham Hotspur defender impressed at right-back.

Right-back has been a problem position all season for Tottenham Hotspur.
Kyle Walker-Peters, Moussa Sissoko, Davinson Sanchez and Serge Aurier have all been tried there.
Spurs have recently reverted to playing Juan Foyth in the role, after experimenting with him there with some success in pre-season.
He has also played in the role for Argentina recently.
Injury in pre-season delayed Tottenham’s plans for him, but now he is getting his opportunity.
Foyth looked accomplished in the role against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
He completed 94.4 percent of his passes in the win and managed to create one chance.

Foyth won two tackles and made one clearance, but it was difficult to read too much into statistics on a night where Spurs were clearly better.
As the game went on, Red Star tested Tottenham less and less and it is important not to get too carried away by Foyth’s performance.
His display was a promising sign that he might be a fix for their problem position. He certainly didn’t look like a liability out there.
Bigger challenges will come his way, like an away trip to Bayern. But so far, Foyth is doing what is asked of him.
