Juan Foyth says he is still processing his potential transfer to Tottenham.
Argentine whizkid Juan Foyth continues to be linked with Tottenham Hotspur, with the Evening Standard reporting he could become their first signing of the summer.
Tottenham are claimed to be negotiating with Estudiantes over a transfer, and Foyth, 19, is still processing a whirlwind season.
Speaking to El Dia, he said: “It was very nice months where everything happened very fast. I did not expect everything to happen in such a short time, but I enjoyed it a lot and I still do.
“It’s a dream, everything that happened to me. It was a tiring season, but I’ve enjoyed it a lot.”
Foyth was asked specifically about a potential move to Tottenham, and said he only learned about the move via the internet.
He said: “When it emerged I found out by social networks.
“I wish I could play in European football. If there is an offer that convinces me as much as the club I will go.”
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Foyth is represented by former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron.
At Tottenham he could play for Veron’s former Argentina international teammate Mauricio Pochettino, who could be an excellent mentor for him.
Tottenham have been linked with more expensive defenders through the summer, and would hope their pursuit of Foyth sees them unearth another bargain.
