Juan Foyth has reacted to Tottenham Hotspur’s victory on Twitter today.

The Argentine centre-back was the hero as Tottenham won 1-0 at Crystal Palace last night.

Foyth, during his second-ever Premier League appearance, scored a second-half winner to cap a strange last seven days for the 20-year-old.

This time last week, Foyth, who was called up to Argentina’s squad for the upcoming international break, must’ve been feeling blue after conceding two penalties during his full league debut in Spurs’ 3-2 win at Wolves.

But fast forward a week and the young stalwart had this to say on Twitter:

It really is quite an impressive feat, to go from villain to hero so quick. Well, he wasn’t quite the villain last week – that might’ve been Kieran Trippier – but he still wouldn’t have been feeling all that rosy for obvious reasons.

But he clearly has bottle and mental strength in abundance, because lesser players certainly would not have responded so well to a nightmare debut.

And fans of the North London club have been quick to praise the young star.

At just 20, Foyth, an £8 million signing from Estudiantes in 2017, is clearly a massive talent and it certainly looks as if Mauricio Pochettino has yet another Tottenham gem on his hands.
