Juan Foyth has posted a picture of himself and Tottenham Hotspur team-mates on Twitter.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth appears to be all smiles, despite not playing a single game this season.

The young Argentine centre-back suffered a thigh injury in pre-season and has only recently returned to training.

Foyth, who joined Tottenham for £8 million [Daily Mail] in the summer of 2017, posted a photo of himself and his Spurs team-mates today as he looks to close in on a return.

And suffice to say that some fans of the North London club were happy to see him back.

Ideally, Foyth, who was linked with a loan move away from the Lilywhites, could’ve done with leaving on a temporary basis.

He wasn’t a massive player under Mauricio Pochettino last season and with Toby Alderweireld staying at the club despite a lot of speculation, he is still quite a distance away from being a first-team regular.

Still only 20, Foyth has a lot to offer Tottenham in the long term one would hope, but moving on a six-month loan in January might be the best option unless something radical happens in the meantime.
