Juan Foyth needs to improve to prove Mauricio Pochettino correct at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth is very highly rated by Mauricio Pochettino.

If Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is going to correct about Juan Foyth then the Argentine badly needs to cut out the errors.

Football London claims that Pochettino believes that Foyth can become one of the best defenders in Europe, if he fulfils his potential at Spurs.

Foyth has certainly shown flashes of quality during his time at White Hart Lane.

However, the Argentine has a bad habit of making severe errors.

Foyth has given away penalties and been red carded in the past season, and he often has periods in games when he looks shaky.

It is easy to see why Pochettino rates Foyth, as he is so good in possession and always wants to play on the front foot.

But the 21-year-old needs to stop being so accident prone, if he is to go on to fulfil his potential at Tottenham and prove Pochettino’s faith isn’t misplaced.
