West Ham seemingly won’t be landing Juan Cuadrado this summer.

Juan Cuadrado of Chelsea

Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado has told Sky Sports that he is ‘very happy’ with the club amid claims of interest from West Ham United.

Cuadrado, 30, made his name in Italy with Udinese and Fiorentina, and just months after impressing at the 2014 World Cup with Colombia, he made a big money move to Chelsea.

The speedy winger was seen as a major addition to Jose Mourinho’s side, but he was barely used and then sent back to Italy just months later, joining Juventus on loan.

After penning a three-year loan deal with a mandatory purchase clause, Cuadrado has now spent four years with Juve, but is mostly a squad player under Massimiliano Allegri.

Cuadrado has started just 10 league games this season, and Tuttosport report that West Ham United and Watford are both interested in signing him for around £17million.

Sadly for those two clubs, Cuadrado allegedly isn’t interested in joining either club because he doesn’t want a return to England following his dismal Chelsea stint, meaning they may have to look elsewhere.

Now, Cuadrado has commented on his future, suggesting that he’s happy with Juve and would be happy to stay, with his family settled in Turin – more suggestions that he won’t be West Ham-bound.

“I’m very happy with the club, the city and the people,” said Cuadrado. “My family is happy here, I still have one year until my contract runs out but it doesn’t only depend on me. I always try and do my best and I would be very happy to stay here,” he added.
