Roma will play host to Liverpool in the second leg of their Champions League clash on Wednesday night.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s disappointing 0-0 draw with Stoke City at Anfield today, and provided a big boost for Reds fans, insisting that Sadio Mane will be fit in time for Wednesday’s Champions League second leg clash with Roma, as quoted by the Express.

The Senegal international missed today’s clash with the Potters, which led to some Liverpool fans believing that he would be unavailable for selection at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night.
Klopp put those fears to bed, however, when speaking to reporters after his side’s draw with Stoke, insisting that the 26-year-old will be raring to go in midweek, as quoted by the Express:

“Sadio did not play but he will be fine for Wednesday.”
Mane has proven to be a big hit with the Anfield faithful, since making his £34 million switch from Southampton in the summer of 2016, and has racked up an impressive 31 goals and 17 assists in 69 outings thus far for the Reds.
His pace and direct playing style brings so much to the manner in which Klopp’s side go about their business, and having him available for Wednesday night’s clash with Roma will be a major boost for the Merseyside outfit.
