Liverpool will head into the second leg of their Champions League clash with Roma with a three goal cushion.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s thrilling 5-2 win over Roma in the Champions League last night, and insisted that if any of his players believe that the tie is over, they will not play in the Stadio Olimpico next Wednesday, as quoted by the Guardian.
The Reds were quite simply brilliant for 80 minutes against Eusebio Di Francesco’s side, but two late goals from Roma ensured that the tie is far from over, especially when it is considered that they beat Barcelona 3-0 at home in the previous round of the competition.
It would take a brave man to bet against Liverpool scoring in Rome, however, what with their incredibly dangerous front-line.

Mohamed Salah was sensational again last night, and took his tally for the season to 43 goals in 47 games – an unbelievable return for someone who does not even play as a central striker.
Klopp warned his players against complacency ahead of next weeks second leg, however, when speaking to reporters, and insisted that anyone who believes the tie is done and dusted will not play, as quoted by Guardian:

“Since I arrived Liverpool has always had to take the more difficult way but in the end Liverpool always succeeded and that’s what we have to do again. If one of my players doesn’t think Roma will try to come back, then he will not play.”
With the magnitude of what is at stake, there surely won’t be any Liverpool players who are taking anything for granted, especially after Klopp’s words to the press last night.
