Wolves sit in 12th place in the Championship, with their next game against rivals Aston Villa.
Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Walter Zenga has sent a message to those that doubt him, telling wolves.co.uk that it gives him the power to do better.
The Italian manager has come under fire despite a relatively positive start at Molineux, with the club in 12th place, five points off the play-offs. However, Zenga is happy to receive criticism and has stated that it fuels him.

“I love when the people don’t like me. Do you know why? Because they give me more power to work better,” Zenga told wolves.co.uk.
“I love this kind of pressure, I love this job. I’m enjoying the challenge.”
Wolves’ next game is away at Villa Park against rivals Aston Villa, who will have a new man in charge as they prepare to welcome Zenga’s side.

There has been an inconsistency about Wolves this season, which is why they are not nearer the top of the Championship. Their 4-0 home defeat to Barnsley followed by a 2-0 win at St James’ Park against Newcastle United sums up their season, and they go into the game against Villa on the back of two defeats in a row before the international break.
The derby clash with Villa will be another tough test for Zenga, especially with an element of pressure hanging over his head, but if he is true to his word, it will inspire him and his team to get a result and condemn Aston Villa to further misery.
