Nacer Chadli has been a big hit at The Hawthorns since completing his summer move.
West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis believes Nacer Chadli is that talented a footballer he could play anywhere, while speaking to the Express and Star.
The Belgian has enjoyed an incredible start to life playing for the Baggies, scoring three and providing two assists since his £13 million move from Tottenham Hotspur, and his new boss has been mightily impressed with the 27-year-old.
“I think Nacer could play anywhere,” Pulis told the Express and Star. “He could play wide, in midfield or up front by himself, he’s such a good player.
“He’s an intelligent player with fantastic technique who has impressed everybody at the football club.”
West Brom sit in ninth place in the Premier League with nine points, almost a quarter of the way to their 40 point target to all but guarantee top flight football for another season.
The signing of Chadli has added another dimension to the Baggies’ game, providing a link between midfield and attack, and supporting lone striker Salomon Rondon to get the goals West Brom need.
Pulis’s side have always been solid at the back, but their attacking flair has let them down in the past, yet now they seem to have the balance of a strong shape and flair in the necessary areas of the pitch.
Although the Welshman thinks Chadli can play anywhere, do not expect to see him lining up at left-back anytime soon.
