The youngster previously had a trial at Arsenal but was not signed.

Arsenal are interested in 17-year-old Chilean midfielder Marcelo Allende, reports The Sun.
The youngster captained his country at the Under-17 World Cup last summer, scoring twice, and now plays for Sports Santa Cruz in his homeland, where he has already made his professional debut.

Allende previously played for Cobreloa, where Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez began his career back in 2005. Former QPR forward Eduardo Vargas also started his career at Cobreloa 10 years ago.
The teenager had a trial with the Gunners earlier in the year and was told that he needs to bulk up by Sanchez if he is to survive in the Premier League, according to The Sun.

Sanchez is one of Arsenal’s top players and is a world class talent. The forward is strong despite his lack of height, and that is something that Allende will need to develop, standing at just five foot four inches.
If Allende does join the North London club he will have the perfect mentor waiting in Sanchez, who has already given him advice, and if the 17-year-old can become even half the player that the former Barcelona man is, then he will be a success.
