Grant Hanley wrapped up proceedings by making it six in the 79th minute, as Newcastle closed the gap on Huddersfield at the top of the Championship.

The result sees QPR drop down to 14th place, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will have a hard task in picking his players up and dusting them off for their to Huddersfield on Saturday.
