Substitute Ciaran Clark made it four, heading home ahead of Aleksandar Mitrovic, who was poised to score himself. However, the Serbian didn’t have to wait long to get his first of the campaign, tapping home from close range eight minutes later.

Grant Hanley wrapped up proceedings by making it six in the 79th minute, as Newcastle closed the gap on Huddersfield at the top of the Championship.
The result sees QPR drop down to 14th place, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will have a hard task in picking his players up and dusting them off for their to Huddersfield on Saturday.
