Norwich City staged a second half comeback to give them all three points against Nottingham Forest and lift them up to second.

The travelling team might not have had to come from behind had Wes Hoolahan converted his first half penalty. Instead, Vladimir Stojkovic dove to his left to palm the ball away.

The Canaries then fell a goal behind in the 40th minute when Apostolos Vellios scored for the home side. It was the Greek striker’s third of the season, reacting quickest to stab home after Eric Lichaj’s header hit the post.

Alex Neil’s side drew level in seven minutes into the second half through Jonny Howson, who scrambled home following a flick on from Russel Martin.

Norwich completed their comeback in the 66th minute when Graham Dorrans’ sublime strike with the outside of his right foot found the bottom corner and gave the Canaries all three points.

The win means it’s nine points in a week for Norwich, and this was a better performance from Neil’s men, having limped home against Wigan and Cardiff.
