David Moyes is yet to win a Premier League game as Sunderland manager.
Sunderland manager David Moyes has told the Sunderland Echo that the only person putting him under pressure is himself.
The Scot has had a terrible start to his tenure as Sunderland boss, picking up just two points from the first 10 games of the season, resulting in the worst ever start to a Premier League season.
There have been calls from a portion of Black Cats fans for Moyes to be sacked, with the supporters already beginning to lose faith in the former Everton and Manchester United manager. However, the 53-year-old insists he is not feeling the heat from anyone at the club.

“Only from myself, really,” Moyes told the Sunderland Echo when asked if he was under pressure.
“Certainly not under pressure from Ellis Short or Martin Bain or the people inside the building.”
Managerial sackings have become common at Sunderland, with every great escape from relegation completed by a different manager. The last time a manager completed a full season in charge on Wearside was the 2010/11 season when Steve Bruce called the shots.
The sack culture has been Sunderland’s saviour so many times, with new managers appearing to turn the team around in a short space of time and ensure they remain in the Premier League.

Moyes looked a good appointment when he replaced Sam Allardyce, but the only way his start to life at Sunderland could have gone worse is if he did not even have two draws to his name.
He may not be under pressure from Ellis Short right now, but Moyes needs to turn this around quick, otherwise it won’t just be the fans calling for the next saviour to emerge.
