Birmingham’s positive start to the season steadily ticked over away to Reading, picking up another point after a 0-0 draw.

The game was by no means a classic, in which neither Ali Al-Habsi or Adam Legzdins could be passed, but it is a point that keeps the Blues inside the top six.

Despite only seeing 29% of the ball, Birmingham had the better chances, with both Lukas Jutkiewicz and Michael Morrison missing great chances for Gary Rowett’s side.

Birmingham have only lost one game so far this season in the Championship, which came in the derby clash with Wolves, and have kept a clean sheet in their past three games.

A point sees Birmingham drop down to fifth, four points off top spot, and they entertain Sheffield Wednesday at home this coming Saturday. The draw lifts Jaap Stam’s Reading up to 10th.

Having seen their side grab another point on the road, albeit in unspectacular fashion, Blues fans have taken to Twitter to react to the goalless encounter.
