The Bristol City loanee scored twice in England under-21s’ win on Tuesday.
Interim England Under-21 boss Aidy Boothroyd has refused to compare Tammy Abraham and Marcus Rashford, after the Chelsea striker scored twice in the 5-0 win over Bosnia on Tuesday, speaking to the Press Association as quoted in the Daily Mail.
Abraham has been in sensational goal-scoring form this season since he joined Bristol City on loan, scoring eight goals so far in the Championship.
The 19-year-old is doing the business in front of goal like another young English forward, but Boothroyd outlined the differences between Abraham and Manchester United striker Rashford.

“They (Abraham and Rashford) are different,” Boothroyd told the Press Association.
“Marcus can play down the middle or on the left or the right, while Tammy is more of an out and out centre forward.
“He’s somebody else that has been given a chance and he’s shown what he’s all about. Sometimes that is what it’s all about.”

18-year-old Rashford was handed a chance in the United first-team last year by Louis van Gaal when injuries forced his hand, and the local lad took that chance and is now a figure in Jose Mourinho’s side as well as a full England international.
Abraham too has been given a chance to shine, albeit not at his parent club, but on loan at Championship side Bristol City, where the youngster’s goals have helped Lee Johnson’s side record 20 points, leaving them in fifth place after 11 games.
Both strikers show how vital it is that youngsters take any chance they get, with opportunities sometimes limited at big clubs, and Abraham will hopefully get the chance to showcase his talents on a grander scale in years to come, having already set the Championship alight.
