Watford were held to a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham United on Saturday.

Watford missed the chance to leapfrog West Ham United in the Premier League table after Andre Ayew scored a late equaliser for the visitors.
The Hornets were awarded a penalty within the first three minutes at Vicarage Road, as Cheikhou Kouyate brought down former Hammers forward Mauro Zarate. Troy Deeney converted the spot-kick to make it four goals in five league games for the Watford skipper.
M’Baye Niang almost doubled Watford’s lead moments later when his long-range strike went agonisingly close.
Walter Mazzarri was forced into a change just before the break as a knee injury to Zarate caused a prolonged break in proceedings.
Slaven Bilic’s side pushed for an equaliser in the second half and were only denied by a fine save by Heurelho Gomes from Jose Fonte’s header.
After a surging run forward, Michail Antonio’s strike struck the post allowing Ayew to tuck home the rebound and draw the visitors level. Antonio’s heroics were short-lived as he saw red for a second bookable offence.

Substitute Isaac Success had a golden chance to gift the hosts a last-gasp victory, but he failed to connect with the ball from a few yards out.
Despite their 10-point cushion over the relegation zone, some Watford supporters took to Twitter to vent their frustrations at their side’s performance. In particular, their defensive approach to the second-half came under fire.
