Ahead of their game this weekend, we take a look at the last five fixtures between Liverpool and West Ham United.

Liverpool 2-0 West Ham (31st January, 2015 – Premier League)

Liverpool made it three wins on the bounce to leapfrog West Ham United in the Premier League table.

Philippe Coutinho’s excellent pass released Raheem Sterling to put the hosts into a 51st-minute lead. In his first appearance for over five months, Daniel Sturridge came off the bench to double Liverpool’s lead.

The win moved Liverpool into seventh, just four points off the Champions League places.

Liverpool 0-3 West Ham (29th August, 2015 – Premier League)

West Ham stunned Liverpool to come away with their first win at Anfield in over 50 years.

Manuel Lanzini converted Aaron Cresswell’s cross to score three minutes into his Hammers’ debut. Lanzini then turned provider as he squared for Mark Noble to double the visitors’ lead.

A fiery second half saw red cards for Noble and Coutinho, before Diafra Sakho sealed West Ham’s win in stoppage time.

West Ham 2-0 Liverpool (2nd January, 2016 – Premier League)

West Ham extended their home unbeaten record to eight league games, by completing a double over Liverpool.

Michail Antonio headed the Hammers into an early lead, as Liverpool looked off the pace at the Boleyn. Ex-Liverpool man Andy Carroll rose to finish Mark Noble’s cross and seal the win for Slaven Bilic’s side.

The win saw West Ham move above Liverpool and up into sixth.

Liverpool 0-0 West Ham (30th January, 2016 – FA Cup fourth round)

A tremendous performance from Darren Randolph denied a young Liverpool side a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

There were chances for Joao Teixeira, Joe Allen and Christian Benteke, but the visitors held firm to force a replay.

West Ham 2-1 Liverpool (9th February, 2016 – FA Cup fourth round replay)

West Ham sealed their place in the next round of the FA Cup with a dramatic late winner at the Boleyn.

Antonio’s opener for the Hammers was cancelled out just three minutes later by Countinho’s strike. The game went into extra-time and looked destined for penalties, before Angelo Ogbonna headed home Dimitri Payet’s free-kick.
