We take a look back at the last five meetings between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers.

Wolves 1-1 Blackburn (11th January, 2013 – Championship)
Dean Saunders’ first game in charge of Wolverhampton Wanderers ended in a draw thanks to a goal from Roger Johnson. Blackburn Rovers – who had just announced Michael Appleton as their new manager – took the lead halfway through the first half courtesy of a Jordan Rhodes penalty – his 14th goal in just six months for Rovers.
Wolves came close to drawing level through Bakary Sako but it was Saunders’ decision to bring on Jamie O’Hara that proved decisive. Just a minute after his introduction, O’Hara crossed for Johnson to head home the equaliser and help Wolves up to 17th in the table.

Wolves 3-1 Blackburn (30th August, 2014 – Championship)
Wolves brushed aside Blackburn to continue their excellent return to Championship football. Nouha Dicko scored the opener before Sako grabbed a brace to see Wolves jump to 3rd in the league.
Once again, Jordan Rhodes scored from the spot but it proved to only be a consolation goal for Gary Bowyer’s side. Defeat meant Blackburn dropped to 14th in the table.
Blackburn 0-1 Wolves (11th January, 2015 – Championship)
An early second half strike from Dave Edward’s ensured Wolves left Ewood Park with all three points. Dicko could have extended Wolves’ lead but his strike rattled the crossbar, while Richard Stearman came dangerously close to scoring an own goal to bring Rovers level.
The win moved Kenny Jackett’s men a point off the play-off places, and five points ahead of 10th placed Blackburn.

Blackburn 1-2 Wolves (8th August, 2015 – Championship)
Wolves started their Championship campaign with a win but it came in controversial fashion. Benik Afobe fired Wolves into a 29th minute lead before Craig Conway’s finish cancelled it out ten minutes later.
The games’ biggest talking point came when Dicko’s cross was turned home by Dave Edwards, who appeared to divert the ball in with his hand. Blackburn pushed for an equaliser, with Jordan Rhodes coming closest but Wolves held out to get their season off to a winning start.
Blackburn 0-0 Wolves (9th April, 2016 – Championship)
Carl Ikeme was in fine form to keep Paul Lambert’s Blackburn side at bay, as Wolves played out their third goalless draw in a row at Molineux. Ikeme did brilliantly to deny Jordi Gomez and Shane Duffy, with Blackburn always looking the more likely to break the deadlock. The stalemate saw Wolves stay in 12th place, while Blackburn remained in 16th.
