Some Burnley supporters took to twitter to question Sean Dyche’s team selection following their 2-0 home defeat to title-chasing Tottenham Hotspur.
The Clarets went behind in the 66th minute when Eric Dier calmly turned the ball past Tom Heaton from a Spurs corner. Mauricio Pochettino’s visitors sealed all three points eleven minutes later, as Dele Alli set up Son Heung-Min for a simple tap-in.
The defeat sees Burnley drop to 13th place – and just five points from the bottom three following Hull City’s win over West Ham United. It continues a worrying run of form for Dyche’s men, who haven’t won a league game since the end of January.

With such a crucial week ahead, some Burnley supporters went on Twitter to urge their manager to reconsider his team selection. This included criticism of midfielders Scott Arfield and Joey Barton, as well as calls for Belgian international Steven Defour and Republican of Ireland man Robbie Brady to return to the Burnley starting-eleven.
Burnely fans also questioned Dyche’s decision to substitute top-scorer Andre Gray for Sam Vokes in the 56th minute – unless the striker had picked up an injury.
