Rovers suffered from an inability to turn draws into wins, as they were involved in numerous high-scoring matches, including 3-3 draws with Watford, Brighton and Hove Albion and Sheffield Wednesday. However, it was the goalless stalemate with relegation-strugglers Yeovil Town which may have been the most regrettable.
