The Celtic defender has been linked to a host of English clubs today.
The agent of Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic has confirmed to The Chronicle that there is interest in his client.
The 22-year-old centre-back has been linked with moves to English sides Newcastle, Huddersfield and Burnley lately.
According to The Daily Mail, the Croatian is rated at around £8 million.
Simunovic, who joined Celtc in 2015 under Ronny Deila, helped Brendan Rodgers’s side to a domestic treble last season, without losing a game.
He is a big player for the Hoops, but his representative insists that although there is “interest all the time”, no offer has been made for his client’s services.
“Jozo is in no rush [to make a decision],” Zoran Krneta told The Chronicle.
“We have clubs calling showing an interest all the time but as far as I’m aware no offers have been made.
“I’m sure [Celtic chief executive] Peter Lawwell will let us know if an offer is accepted but until then he is looking forward to next season with Celtic.”
Celtic could and probably should be demanding a lot more than £8 million for the ex-Dinamo Zagreb man.
That is not a lot of money in today’s market and Hoops fans will believe that he is worth significantly more, given his performances last season.
One thing which could count against Simunovic in regards to his value is a lengthy knee injury which kept him out of action for eight months.
