Martin O’Neill said on Sky Sports Football (2:06pm, March 21, 2021) that Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard played well against Steven Gerrard’s Rangers today.

Celtic have played out a 1-1 draw with Rangers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

Edouard did not score for the Hoops in the Old Firm derby, but the 23-year-old provided the assist for Mohamed Elyounoussi to put his side in the lead in the 23rd minute.

O’Neill said about the Frenchman on Sky Sports Football (2:06pm, March 21, 2021): “Today I thought he was more mobile, I thought he was effective as well too and his link-up play with Elyounoussi was a joy to watch.”

How did Odsonne Edouard play against Rangers?

Edouard is one of the best and all-round strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and the 23-year-old was a problem for the Rangers defence.

The Frenchman linked up well with his fellow attacking players and had chances to score.
