Journalist Paolo Bargiggia has said Luciano Spalletti could be lured into becoming the Tottenham Hotspur manager due to earning a lot more than he currently is at Napoli.
It was reported in April that the Serie A-winning coach would be open to taking over a Premier League job next.
It seems Tottenham Hotspur could now tempt Luciano Spalletti to become their new manager with the offer they have on the table for him.

After the Italian led Napoli to becoming the champions of Italy, Fabio Capello sang his praises, pinpointing how he ‘started from the bottom’ to reach the very top via Sky Sports Football.
In October, even BBC Sport branded the 64-year-old as an ‘underrated genius.’
While several Tottenham fans would likely be delighted if Luciano Spalletti becomes their manager, it seems as if that could become a distinct possibility after all.
“How many percentages are there that Luciano Spalletti stays at Napoli? They told me 50% and I was quite surprised. I was convinced that it was at least 70%, but whoever told me this is certainly a reliable person. There is no conversation between Spalletti and De Laurentiis to plan”, Paolo Bargiggia said, as relayed by Area Napoli.
“Why did the manager release certain statements [Napoli exercising one year extension], proving to be rather cold on the hypothesis of a renewal? The problem is that the Tuscan had an important proposal from Tottenham. Spalletti earns €2.7 million (£2.3 million) a season, elsewhere they can guarantee him a very high salary.”
The Italian journalist said that if Luciano Spalletti turns down the Tottenham manager job, there are two other clubs he could join.
“Then came two other potential proposals, not yet so concrete. One is PSG, even if Mourinho is more likely to go there. The second is sensational: a return to Rome. I repeat, however, there is nothing official.”
