Guillem Balague has claimed that Leeds United’s potential move for Rodrigo is certainly one which could go ahead.

Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that Leeds wanted the Valencia striker last night, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to bolster his side’s forward options.

Balague thinks that the reports are hugely exciting for Leeds, and he has suggested that a move to Bielsa’s side would appeal to the £30 million-rated forward (Mail).

Rodrigo’s arrival at Leeds would certainly make a statement of intent before the new campaign.

The Spanish international could also be a great fit for Bielsa’s system.

Rodrigo certainly possesses the technical qualities required to play in a side managed by the Argentine, and he would surely be an upgrade on Patrick Bamford.

Bamford helped Leeds to promotion, but doubts remain over his finishing ability at the top level.

Rodrigo has blasted in double figures for goals in two of the last three seasons in La Liga, which shows just how prolific he can be when given service.

And if Leeds can seal a deal for the 29-year-old, he would be a very exciting addition to Bielsa’s side.
