Speaking on the Bhavss14 YouTube channel, Football London journalist Chris Wheatley has shared what Eduardo Camavinga’s representative told him about recent links to Arsenal.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the French midfielder in recent weeks, and while Arsenal fans were getting excited about the prospect of Camavinga coming in, it seems as though there isn’t much to these rumours.
What’s been said?
Unfortunately, Wheatley has spoken to Camavinga’s representative, and he claims that the links to Arsenal are absolute rubbish.
“Yeah I remember when these links surfaced just before the start of the transfer window, it was from France, a reporter said that Arsenal are in for Camavinga or that they’re set to sign him, or something along those lines. I contacted the representative of that player who said that those links were absolute rubbish,” Wheatley said.
“Things can change in football as we know, things can change over days, months, weeks or even hours. Things could have changed since then, but I haven’t heard about Arsenal making an approach for him.”

Gutting
This is a bit of a gutting update for Arsenal fans.
Camavinga looks to be the complete package, and he’d be an unbelievable addition to the Gunners’ side, but it looks as though the London club aren’t looking to sign him.
However, as Wheatley says, things can change on an hourly basis, so the Gunners’ stance on the midfielder could be altered, but as of right now, it doesn’t seem as though Arsenal are in for him.
