Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, journalist Ian McGarry has shared what a very high-placed source at Everton has told him about Richarlison’s future.
The Brazilian has been strongly linked with a move to PSG over the past week as rumours of Kylian Mbappe moving to Real Madrid heat up.
Rafa Benitez has been adamant that Richarlison isn’t leaving the club, but McGarry has heard that he’s actually available for £70m.
What’s been said?
McGarry and his co-host Duncan Castles shared what they know about the Mbappe and Richarlison situations.
“PSG are looking at alternatives, looking at replacements, there is that possibility that PSG will concede, take the money, reinvest elsewhere and allow Florentino Perez to have the player he has obsessed over for the past 12 months now,” Castles said.
“Rafa Benitez says Richarlison is not for sale, but my information from Everton and a very high-placed source was that he’s for sale for £70m, so somebody might want to tell Rafa that before he does these press conferences saying he’s not for sale,” McGarry continued.

Good price
Whether or not Everton should sell Richarlison is up for debate, but £70m for the Brazilian would represent a great price.
Richarlison is supremely talented, but at the end of the day, he’s never scored more than 13 league goals in a season, so £70m would be a great fee for the attacker.
It remains to be seen whether or not PSG come in for him, but if they do, it may be tough for the Toffees to keep hold of their star man.
